I will leave up the "Fun Art at Home" tab above, so students can have a lot of fun art to do over the Summer. I'll add to it whenever I find something good.

Hi! My name is Christy Rand. I teach all of the art classes here at Hawthorn Academy. This is my 10th year teaching here. These are the classes I teach:
Middle school: Art Foundations 1, Art Foundations 2, Commercial Art and Electronic Media
Elementary: I teach all elementary classes K-6th through the Beverly Taylor Sorensen Arts Learning Program
After School Art Club: Art fun after school. Sign up required.

Spotlights
Several of our students entered the National Junior Duck Stamp Contest. This was one of our winners, winning first place in State.
5th graders last year did wonderfully at the grid art drawings of famous Americans and American landmarks. Here is an example of a drawing of John F. Kennedy.
